There is a particular energy to a runway when contrasting creative visions come together under one roof. In Sofia, Bulgaria, a city steadily carving its own place within the contemporary fashion landscape, VÈLISHE models Alan C., Alexandra and Huss took to the runway as part of the city’s fashion week, in a presentation defined by experimentation, strong construction and an unmistakably international fashion sensibility.
The show brought together a diverse selection of designers and creative voices, moving effortlessly between conceptual tailoring, sculptural forms, utilitarian details, contemporary menswear and bold graphic compositions. Among the names represented were Nikolay Bozhilov, Contrapunct, Michal Szulc, La Protagonista, Ham & Eggs, Kuzma Suresh and the National Academy of Art, alongside other participating designers.
Rather than following a single aesthetic direction, the runway unfolded as a dialogue between completely different approaches to fashion. Technical outerwear and layered silhouettes stood alongside refined tailoring, while oversized proportions, experimental construction and striking textile treatments created a visual rhythm reminiscent of the major international fashion weeks.
From Nikolay Bozhilov’s refined contemporary language to the experimental character of Contrapunct and Michal Szulc, the presentation continued through the distinctive worlds of La Protagonista, Ham & Eggs, Kuzma Suresh and the National Academy of Art. Each look contributed another perspective, resulting in a runway that felt less like a single aesthetic statement and more like a meeting point for emerging and established ideas in contemporary fashion.
Set against the backdrop of Sofia, Bulgaria, the event offered a snapshot of the city’s evolving fashion scene while placing local talent and international creative influences in the same conversation. The atmosphere felt less like a conventional showcase and more like a condensed fashion-week moment: varied, experimental and driven by individual design identities.
And on this runway, VÈLISHE’s Alan C., Alexandra and Huss became part of exactly that conversation.
One runway defined by individuality.
