Kaloyan Mitov — Paris
Paris in black and white.
There is very little between Kaloyan Mitov (@kaloyan.mitov) and the camera here - an open blazer, a white T-shirt, the softened silhouette of the Eiffel Tower behind him, and a gaze with no interest in asking permission.
Photographed by Mina Ighnatova, the series strips the image back to its essential elements. Light. Structure. Posture. Bone. The city becomes almost incidental, hovering quietly in the distance while Kaloyan holds the centre of the frame with an assuredness that feels instinctive rather than performed.
Black and white gives the portrait its particular severity. Without colour to soften the lines, the image depends entirely on presence. Every angle becomes visible; every pause carries weight.
For VÉLISHE Model Management, this is the kind of editorial language that reveals what remains when everything unnecessary falls away. A model does not always need spectacle to command attention. Sometimes, it is enough to stand in Paris and let the camera come closer.
